Hello,

I am new to audiobook reading but not new to LibriVox as a listener. I am a stay at home mom looking to get back into something outside of my kids and reading out loud to children is a passion of mine so this seemed like a good next step.

Does anyone have a tips for the letter 'P'. My volume tends to spike for words that start with P. I also seem to have what I believe are called mouth noses. Does anyone have any tips on how to minimize them?

I am looking forward to joining this community.

Greetings

There's advice on controlling plosives here: https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=Improve_Your_Recording

Regarding mouth noises, a lot of readers obsess over this. In most cases the concern is overblown. I just don't worry about it, myself.
