Thanks!

Thank you for an impassioned reading of these poems!
I was just looking at a volume of William Watson's poems yesterday, and selected one to read for the short poetry collection next month.

There are just a few edits I would request.

You omitted (August, 1914) I would read that just before the first Sonnet, or you can read it as part of the title. I think it is important because the author included it and it does set the historical context for these sonnets which sets the context.

Then, instead of saying, "Number One," please just say "One." We try not to add anything to the text, so just read as it is.
Also in that vein, at the end please cut out "by" which is not there -- just the author's name. Except for adding (August, 1914), these are minor things, bight might as well take care of them while your add it, just to tighten things up.

I hope we will hear a lot more of your voice here on LibriVox!
Thanks for the edits and the advice. Questions: On the transcript it says "Boston Transcript" after August, 1914 -- should I say Boston transcript? Other question: Should I say Sonnet One or just One. The word Sonnet isn't on the transcript. Thanks Lisa

Let's do it this way.

For the intro, read the title as "Six Sonnets - 1914 by Percy MacKaye, read for LibriVox DOT org by . . . ."
Before each sonnet just read, "One," Two," etc. (since it is not in the text, do not say "sonnet" or "number.")
After the last sonnet, just say, "Boston Transcript -- Percy MacKaye. End of poem. This recording is in the public domain."
On the road again, so delays are possible

Hi!

Here is a reading for the part of Ma for Section 11, "Fight". I hope it's what you're looking for. If not, I can certainly re-record any or all of it. There are about 3.5 seconds between each section.

(2:35) including all of the spaces

Thanks for this opportunity. I would definitely enjoy doing this again. :D

Thank you so much!
This is absolutely perfect.

I love your interpretation of the part, and the recording is exactly right.
I think you'll really enjoy hearing this once it's all put together.

So, maybe we have a new recruit for plays and dramatic readings.
I have another collaborative poetry project that may need another female voice. I'll let you know,

This is fantastic! I love your rendition of this character, Greg. This is going to fit in so well.
PL OK - one repeated line, but no problem to handle in editing.

Thanks so much for taking this part. :)

Oh, I'm losing track of things.
This sounds good except for the numbers at the end that you left end.
Just cut those out and make sure there's still five seconds of silence at the end, and you'll be golden.

Also, I'm sending you a PM about something we briefly touched on in today's Zoom.
