Hi - no, I haven't done the test yet. Do you want me to do this before assigning the section? It's fine if you do and I quite understand. As for a name, how about Redvers (uncle's name!)
I've assigned the section to you, but could you please check the feedback you were given about your minute test before you record? There seem to be some irregularities in your settings. See viewtopic.php?t=96205 for details.
Hi - here is my upload. If this is OK, can I do section 7?
Richard
please listen at 9:27 pag 106, 2 lines to the bottom
I hear " intended for an offence" instead of "intended for an affront"
Then you shold please shorten just a little bit the silence in the beginning, that should be 0.5 to 1 second
and also shorten a little bit the silence at the end, that should be 5 seconds.

Sorry - what do you mean by "add the duration"? I can't see any reference to this in the guidance.
If you look at the first page of the project, under the mc to select in order to upload the file you'll read
Copy and paste the file link generated by the uploader into a new post in this thread along with the file duration (mm:ss). Watch this thread for prooflistening notes.
It means that you need to write down how many minutes/seconds is the duration of your reading.
This is necessary for the finalization part of the projects.
Here it is again with the corrections. The new 10 second section I have put in to rectify the mistake has come out very slightly louder than the rest. I don't think it would be very noticeable to a listener, but I couldn't see any Audacity control for softening a section rather than amplifying it.

Thank you Richard,
I will Pl your section tomorrow
If you want to try, you can use the amplify in Audacity with a minus before the number. That will soften the section.
