Избранные Разсказы / Selected Stories, by Евгений Чириков (1864 - 1932)

A novella and three short stories by Evgeny Chirikov, a Russian writer popular before the 1917 revolution. He favored democratic reforms in Russia, but became disillusioned and emigrated after the Bolshevik coup, that lead to a ban on his name in the Soviet Union, and he was mostly forgotten until the 21st century. Leave 5 seconds of silence at the end.

Filename: selectedstories_##_chirikov_128kb.mp3 where ## is the section number. (e.g. selectedstories_01_chirikov_128kb.mp3)

Hi Mark, thanks for uploading the first two chapters.

SEC 1: You may consider re-recording 'opeka' to read with 'е', not 'ё' [08:24]
SEC 2: You may consider re-recording 'снята' placing the accent on the last syllable [08:54]

Otherwise all is perfect. Up to you if you want to keep it as is, Mark
