 you guys have all been busy over the weekend. We're rapidly nearing the end already. 8-)

Craig, excellent reading, I was fevering with the explorers to find out whether they would survive their ordeal. I especially liked the reading in character of the colonel's diary.

A few small edits to do:

> from 0:27 to 0:30: between "chapter 15" and "colonel warburton's journey" - pause too long, I would cut significantly to under 2 seconds
> from 8:03 to 8:06: (p. 213-214) between "never recovered" and "hitherto - pause too long
> at 13:20: (p. 216) "in all our expectations" - you say "expeditions"
> at 17:54: (p. 218) repeat, can be cut once: "but without them"

thanks

and absolutely PL ok, thank you so much Jim. 8-) So interesting to hear how many people went on rescue missions for the missing explorers.

thank you so much, Jennifer for the ultra speedy turn-around 8-) the chapters are all beautifully narrated, I really enjoyed them.

However I have a few small edits to request. The main problem lay in the chapter number which deviates from the section number. The initial soloist opted to say "chapter" at the beginning, so I kept it that way to keep the intros all identical. That's why we need to say the chapter number, not the section number, sorry.

Section 17:
> at 0:01: "Chapter 16" - you say "17"
> from 6:11 to 6:25: (p. 222) between "limited quantities" and "yet on several" - for some reason here is a very long pause, which needs to be shortened :hmm:
> from 14:39 to 14:41: (p. 226) between "safely through it" and "a well-beaten track" - pause too long, would cut to under 2 seconds here
> at 16:14: "end of chapter 16" - also here, you say "17"

Section 18:
> at 0:01: "Chapter 17" - you say "18"
> from 6:52 to 6:54: (p. 231) between "across the continent" and "Two" - pause too long
> from 12:20 to 12:22: (p. 234) between "on the 13th of July" and "Three" - pause too long
> at 16:05: "End of Chapter 17" - also here, you say "18"

Section 19:
> at 0:01: "Chapter 18" - you say "19"
> at 0:57: (p. 237) "Captain, afterwards Sir George Grey" - you say "after"
> at 12:44: "End of Chapter 18" - also here you say "19"

thanks

don't worry, it wasn't that much trouble. Considering the length of the recordings, you did not have that many errors. And all perfectly corrected, so PL ok now. Thank you so much.

yay, thanks, Craig !!! Yes, all perfectly edited and now PL ok.

And WOW, that means we really finished the abandoned project in record time here. 8-) I'm sure Chris will be thrilled to see it in the catalogue finally.

A huge thanks to the readers who jumped in to bring this to such a rapid close: Craig, Jim, Piotr and Jennifer. And of course to Chris, who came up with the great idea for this project and recorded over half of it.

I'll start cataloguing now and will post the link when it's finished.
