The Labyrinth, by Francis Stevens

This project is now complete! All audio files can be found on our catalog page: https://librivox.org/the-labyrinth-by-francis-stevens/
This story takes place in Marshall City, the fictional capital of an unnamed Midwestern state, where the cousin of millionaire Hildreth Wyndham has mysteriously disappeared. Hildreth and his friends believe that his cousin's former employer, the state governor, is responsible for her abduction, but they must traverse a mysterious labyrinth first in order to uncover the whole truth.

Target completion date:

Prooflistening level: Standard
Prospective PLs, please see the Guide for Proof-listeners.

IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the number of languishing projects on our server, we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't recorded anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).

Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process unless you are the BC or PL. Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

This shouldn't have a "translated by" on it since the story was written in English. If that's your name, you would just say it at the beginning of each section in the "Read by" comment of the intro as it's listed in the first post.

Also it looks like the link to the text is broken. You might wanna fix it.

Otherwise, have fun though! I'll move this one to In Progress.

When you deleted your name from that top line, you also deleted the coding that made the rest of the page normal text size and black in color. 8-) I've fixed that for you.

Okay, this is set up. A couple notes:

As you're the soloist, you're in charge of updating the Magic Window.

Detailed Instructions for accessing the Magic Window can be found in the document linked here: Instructions for Soloists

I've entered the first three chapters for you as an example. You can fill in the rest. (If you don't want "Chapter X" in the title, you can take those out. If you want them to be regular numbers rather than Roman numerals, you can change that.)

When you upload a chapter, put the file duration (mm:ss) in the Notes field and the uploaded URL into the Listen URL field, and mark it from Assigned to Ready for PL.

I think that's it. Holler if you have questions, and have fun!
