So, I don't know whether you go look over there at the other (Volume Three) project, but you're being asked if you're willing to be the BC (is that the same as the MC?) on this.

BC and MC are different roles.
The BC does the day to day running (Filling in the MW, assigning sections to readers) whereas the MC is more behind the scenes, setting up the project then bringing it all to the catalog)

PL OK! Thank you!

And thanks for section 14 - I should be able to finish PLing it tomorrow. By the way, it's no problem at all to post a new section before a previous one is done. If you want to do that for volume 3, feel free!
For the time being, I'll need a little more time than usual to PL sections that come in on weekdays. Thanks for your patience.

As for "Crowned Queen", I assume that will be leaving "New Projects". Where shall I look for it? (I'm not going to worry about it until Book Two is behind us.)

I found it, under "Solo" readings!
BTW, here are my long-range plans. I was ready to go on to volume 3, because I love the writing so much But then I was researching Ford, and I saw he wrote three novels in collaboration with Joseph Conrad-- "The Inheritors", "Romance", and "The Nature of a Crime". It seems terrible enough that "Fifth Queen", a great novel by a great novelist, should have been forgotten. But to have three novels by TWO great novelists forgotten is too much for me. So, with any luck, I'll go on to do these three.

Thanks again for section 14! Nicely done, as always. I have just a few notes:

- At the very beginning, could you say “Privy Seal: His Last Venture” instead of “Final Venture”?
- At 4:36, “The weighty question,” I hear “Thy weighty question”
- At 5:13, there’s a stumble at “Cromwell had immediately called to him”
- At 7:30, “yet elsewise such great ills,” you say “yet elsewhere such great ills”
- At 8:34, “his hands still behind his back,” you say “his hands still behind his neck”
- At 10:36, there’s a stumble at “if it peril mine own upon that awful occasion”
- At 15:46, “Very gracious lord,” you say “Very great lord”
- At 22:52, “whom he kept mostly mindful of such farms,” you say “whom he kept most mindful of such farms”
- At 29:59, there’s a stumble at “either through inattention”
For the time being, I'll need a little more time than usual to PL sections that come in on weekdays. Thanks for your patience.

As a matter of fact, I had it in mind to launch The Nature of a Crime as my next group project. But instead, I'll plan on being the DPL when you eventually launch that solo project! I haven't read the other two yet, but I can definitely say that you'll like The Nature of a Crime.

I've run into a technical problem. (I learned the answer to this months ago, but I've forgotten) I have some icon, it looks like a tiny zoom icon, or magnifying glass, that follows me around. How do I get rid of it?

I solved that one problem, and here--after all manner of hisses, blurs and blips-- is the latest result.

Thank you! There are just a few more things to take care of, and then this project will be ready for cataloging!:

- At 10:34, "so do I love my master's cause that—if it peril mine own upon that awful occasion," you say "so do I love my master's cause—so if it peril mine own upon that awful occasion," and there's a repeat of "awful occasion"
- At 23:02, "his particular friends and servants," the end of "servants" is cut off
- At 30:02, "either through inattention or ill chance," the end of "chance" is cut off
- At the very end starting at 37:15, there are some retakes of earlier lines
For the time being, I'll need a little more time than usual to PL sections that come in on weekdays. Thanks for your patience.

Whoops, Lynne, I forgot to mention that I've edited the summary in the first post since launching the project, when you have a chance to catalog it. Thanks!
