It was fun, and there was more of it than I initially anticipated.

It took quite a while to get it right, but it was definitely worth it!

Congratulations to everybody, we're finished here!

This project is now complete. All files can be downloaded from the catalog page:

Thanks again for making this happen.
It may not be heard by the millions that other projects register but it will be appreciated by all those looking to understand how we came to be who we are.

One question:
I was told, long ago, that I could compose my own written introduction for each project (or/and work with other attributed information sources like Wikipedia)
I was unaware that my introduction for “Researches…” would be edited.

The final sentence was cut out.

Does Librivox have a policy about conjecture?

My final sentence WAS:
“Could this be the first historic recognition that ‘Black Lives Matter’"?

Can this sentence be re-inserted in Librivox’s and Archive’s listings????

In the future I would appreciate some “pre-editing” discussion.

Thanks for all, you ALL do!!

Thank you for your kind insinuations.

I have not changed your summary in any way.
Could it be possible that you added that sentence intermittently? Just like the mention of Kazbek as reader of the foreign passages, which is missing from the catalog page / archive as well?

Once a project is set up in the launch pad, there is no connection to the database. Meaning: if you change the summary in the first post, it will not automatically update in the database, that has to be done manually. You will have to tell your MC to do that for you. Which you may well have, but since I didn't check in here all the time, I may have missed it.

Personally, yes, I do find it questionable to impose modern views and interpretations on a work that is more than 200 years old, but you are right, it's your project. I have now copy/pasted the summary as it is in the first post.
Cheers, Ava.

thank you SO MUCH, Ava…for the explanation, the reposting and your thoughts on the wording.
I’ll try to remember to alert my MC of any changes I make to ontroductions.
