Target completion date: 2024-01-02

Prooflistening level: Standard
Prospective PLs, please see the Guide for Proof-listeners.

IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the number of languishing projects on our server, we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't recorded anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).

Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process unless you are the BC or PL. Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

My I serve as DPL (except, of course, for the chapters that Debreads wishes to PL?)

I have PL'd chapter one TWO GENTLEMEN SAY GOOD-BY, but was unable to login to the Magic Window to indicate that it is finished. I found no significant issues.

You can't get into the MW because you have not been access to it. So, are you saying that chapter 1 is PL OK? If it is, then I will change the status.

Sorry, I am new and still don't have a grasp on all the bells and whistles here. I was given access the last time I read.
The answer to your question is yes . And now I have listened to chapter 2 THE ABSENCE OF GOVERNOR OSBORNE, and it is smoother* than chapter 1. There are no problems with it.

*I have read the advice on what and what not to comment, so I was loathe to say that for chapter 1 the dialect/accent and speed did interfere with clearly understanding every word. Generally, a quick replay revealed what I missed.
