Hello! I have completed my reading assignment and uploaded it. I found it quite challenging to "dip into" such a stream as a 19th century spiritualist 'channeled work' well into the text and story, as it were. I have no problem if it's not what you are looking for, and understand. I gained quite a bit of skill with audicity with recording and inserting sections, etc. If you like it and the proof listeners find sections I need to fix, I should be able to make the edits with what I've learned. I'm thinking you will give me the location number and text/page number? I guess I'll find that our as I go - Thanks for this opportunity to learn! -Robert (Moondoggiepapi).

I know, seeing those big red letters with PL NOTES can be a little stressful, but DON"T PANIC ! It is just a technical issue, your reading was beautifully done and nicely paced.

At the beginning of the file there is supposed to be .5 - 1 sec of silence and at the end of the file 5 seconds of silence. Your beginning and end silences don't fit in those parameters.

You can GENERATE silence if you are using Audacity. Go to the top menu and select GENERATE>Silence. then you can set the meter for the correct time and, voila you have a flatline exactly the right length.

After you get it fixed up re - upload it and don't for get to post the new time.

I know, seeing those big red letters with PL NOTES can be a little stressful, but DON"T PANIC ! It is just a technical issue, your reading was beautifully done and nicely paced.

At the beginning of the file there is supposed to be .5 - 1 sec of silence and at the end of the file 5 seconds of silence. Your beginning and end silences don't fit in those parameters.

You can GENERATE silence if you are using Audacity. Go to the top menu and select GENERATE>Silence. then you can set the meter for the correct time and, voila you have a flatline exactly the right length.

After you get it fixed up re - upload it and don't for get to post the new time.
