Todd - Ken's lines
Chapters 11, 12, 13 - PL OK.

Chapter 14 -
At ~0:14 I hear "The mayor's orders to get back to town at once" - it should be "Mayors orders to get back to town at once"
"The" is right next to "mayor's"; I wouldn't be able to cut it out cleanly.
(Mom gets asked to make more sandwiches.)
At ~ 1:03 I hear "through our lines set fire" - it should be "through our lines and set fire"

Chapters 15, 16 - PL OK.
Ken almost dies (again).
Chapter 17 - PL OK.
Ken is in shell shock for most of this chapter.
Chapters 18, 19, 20 - PL OK -- Huzzah!

(Maybe by 6 months or a year after the end of the book Ken will have figured things out enough that Maria won't have to kill him.)

Greg -
Phil isn't the Book Coordinator on this one; it's me. (Phil is going to be bad guy Frank Meggs in this story.) Sorry, Joe Walton has been claimed by EnNar (Navin) - I just realized I didn't enter that assignment in the Magic Window.

There are plenty of other Science Club members - or other roles - still open. See https://fullloon.com/stardust/cast.pdf for a list of characters in the book. If you want to claim multiple characters look for ** by the name and make sure the characters are in different chapters. If you can give each character a different voice so much the better.

Loon,

I understand. Things happen.

I would like to record Professor Larsen. That role looks open.

Thanks!

Great! You are down for Professor Larsen in chapters 02, 07, 12, 13, 17, 18, 19, 20.

As usual, if you spot any errors I made in the scripts please let me know so I can fix things before I get to editing. Welcome to Mayfield, Some State, USA.

Here are the corrections for Mayor Bill Hilliard. In a few cases, instead of reciting only the specific phrase or sentence, I said the complete thought. I wanted the feeling to be consistent.

I messed around with the radio announcer part in chapter 2, but my attempt at sounding like Walter Winchell in a panicked voice, IMO, fell woefully short. There is no worry in his voice. If you want, I'll upload it to see what you think. It's about the same as the Radio North voice was.

The corrections are great - all PL OK.

Go ahead and upload chapter 2 "Radio" and I'll take a listen. In my take on the story, the radio announcer in chapter 2 is the local station morning DJ - and is almost scoffing at the news he is reading. For example: "Here's a bunch of people who don't know how to maintain their cars trying to blame the comet for something that's their own faults - yuck yuck yuck". Radio in chapter 3 is the same DJ the next day. He now realizes the news is something serious but is not yet in a panic.
Anyway, if you're reading Radio in chapter 2 you should do him in chapter 3 as well. You should also read something like "Mayor Bill Hilliard and radio announcer - read by John de Silva".

All PL OK, thanks. Another major character's lines in the can.
I'm hearing some breath popping on some of the T and P plosives - I'll be able to minimize that with some careful filtering.
The professor comes full circle in the story - he starts and ends with 'the universe is a terrible place - we are lucky to have a tiny habitable part of it.'

Thanks, Loon! Wow, that was quick!

Now that I understand the sound you mention are 'splosives on "T" and "P" I will work on that in the future.

Many thanks!
