Besides being near the end of the Readers Wanted Forum, an appeal that I gravitate toward, I sense a humorous British turn of phrase here that appeals to my former life in rainy and windy Britain.

Normally I do pretty serious bloodthirsty stuff where two massive armies whack at each other with axes. I need something a little silly. I promise not to go into Tom Baker mode doing this.

I have said footnote 1 etc and at the end of the whole recording i said the footnote text. IN my case the footnotes are long tables that would have interrupted the reading. That's why I have done them at the end.

But if you want a different approach then I will need to know. I have done the section and this is my only question.

I would agree with that. But you do say in the MW that I should footnote and end of footnote? To quote it says:

That's true... but if you think it more logical elsewhere, that's fine. Rules are made to be broken, right? This is more of a guideline than a hard and fast rule.
