RE: chapter 7- I did a noise reduction then amplified to -1.5 at that point it did not pass checker--So I amplified it a little more and it passed .at the lower limit. Obviously, I need to do some self-education on these processes and will go thru the info available here so that I can offer up a better recording. Thank you for your patience

Mary, we are all on a learning curve around here. You'll find some help in the Instructional Videos, in case you haven't found them yet. Then there are friendly tips, and experimentation. After 9 years I am still not satisfied with my recordings.

Speaking of which, would you be willing to PL my Section 8? I'm DPL on this project but need someone else to PL mine.

Okay, Mary, that's great! So you just make sure the Intro and Outro say what's in the First Post, then make sure the text is all there and understandable. Keep a notepad handy and notate the start time of any error and an explanation of what you think is wrong. It needn't be WORD PERFECT, but shouldn't significantly alter the intended meaning. There is a link in the first post to Proof Listening standards, which you can read up on if you haven't done it before. We are always in need of PL'ers.
