Sections 155 and 156 are also PL OK, thanks.
Your volume in all three sections is in the LibriVox acceptable range, but near the low end of that range. You could raise your overall volume by around 2 dB in future recordings.
Hi, here are my recordings for sections 157, 158, and 159 (I tried to bump up the volume, and I think I got rid of the bumping sound from my setup):
157 (6:29): https://librivox.org/uploads/philchenevert/thestrangestthingsintheworld_157_henry_128kb.mp3
158 (3:28): https://librivox.org/uploads/philchenevert/thestrangestthingsintheworld_158_henry_128kb.mp3
159 (2:27): https://librivox.org/uploads/philchenevert/thestrangestthingsintheworld_159_henry_128kb.mp3

section 157 - Animal Prototypes of the "Mermaid" - See PL Notes
Your silence at the very beginning is too long at about 3 seconds - it should never be more than 1 second, with around 1/2 second preferred.
At ~2:36 I hear "The head is - The head is" - the first one of these should be easy to edit out.

I didn't hear any thumps in this section and your volume is near the center of the range.

Section 158 - Limbless Lizards and Glass Snakes - See PL Notes.
Once again the opening silence is too long - the rest of your recording is fine. A single edit is all you'll need to make this section OK.

Section 159 - The Only Bug in the Sea - See PL Notes.
Again the opening silence is too long - this one has only 1.5 seconds (still outside the specified limit). Your closing silence is 7 seconds which is 2 seconds longer than normal but within LibriVox's specs.

All three of these sections are clear recordings with no bumps or thumps. The volume of each is near the center of the range LibriVox is looking for.

Okay, the first of my sections should be done.

Section 110 - https://librivox.org/uploads/philchenevert/thestrangestthingsintheworld_110_henry_128kb.mp3 - 03:33

Let me know if I missed something I need to fix. :)

110 - The Octopus Worm: Evolution's Mystery - PL OK.
Your closing silence is about 8.7 seconds - longer than our target of 5 seconds (but still within the LibriVox spec).
I've never heard of 'octopus worms' before. Huh!

Thanks Rich! I'll make sure to trim down my next one.

Me neither! Interesting, right?

Section 111 is also PL OK, thank you.

Note:
Your overall volume in both 110 and 111 is quieter than the middle of the LibriVox range (but safely within the range). You were right to not amplify the tracks any more than you did, as even another dB would have sent several places in the sections into clipping.

My knowledge about Kamchatka comes solely from too many hours playing RISK when I should have been studying (mumble) years ago.
