I'm sorry, Susan, I was supposed to post a note on this and forgot -- lending a second set of ears for our proof listener.
There are still several issues that still need correction.

The most important is still the low, low volume, which comes in at only 84.4 decibels. Our target is 89 dBs with an acceptable range of 86 - 92 dBs. So, if you amplify this by a factor of + 4.6 it should come close. There is one exception which is the word "glittering" at about 11:47 which is so much louder as to be startling. It is difficult to patch in just one word. When making edits, it is much better to do a whole sentence or phrase. In this case I would just try amplifying down so that it blends in at least a little better with the sentence.

Finally, the ending and closing silences still need to be adjusted. At the beginning, we need only 0:5 - 1:0 second, so this needs to be trimmed. At the end, we like to have about 5 seconds, and I find only about 3.5 seconds. You can simply copy and paste some of that to make it closer to 5.

Here is a link to our little Checker program that will check your actual volume as well as the other LV specifications (except for the silences). Checker https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=Checker

Let us know if you need help with any of this.

Ok, I thought I uploaded the wrong one last time. I am checking on the copies I have and hopefully can find the right one. Sorry to be so unorganized.

Well, almost . . . . Now you have the volume all the way up to 91.8 decibels which is right at our upper limit, and the silence at the end is still only 3.5 seconds. But, it is easy enough for me to tweak this, so I've done so and marked it PL OK! So, you're good to go. :) Thank you so much for contributing to this book.

Larry,
I'll move you back over to Wanted for that Frog section.

Hi Christine
PL notes:
i) There is a 4 seconds silence at the beginning of the recording. Just leave 0.5 to 1 second of silence at the beginning.
ii) The silence at the end is also 4s since you'll be editing, could you also make it 5s.
