Just two quick notes - both of them optional.

Yes, you did use a slightly different vowel sound on the first time you read Piccini around 7:50. Also, I heard your clock chime at 17:10.

Again, these are both optional edits, so I have marked the section PL Okay.

thanks Jim. good ear. Danged clock, it's in almost every recording I've done, but I hate to stop time for Librivox in my house! I've had the clock 35 years, and starting and stopping it isn't an option, though I tried it for a while....

I fixed both as best I could.

Hoping to hear about section 7 soon, whether we can use my version.

Czandra,

I've scrolled through the thread to figure out why you've submitted a section claimed by another reader. I see that you had accidentally recorded a portion of it before and were waiting to see if it became orphaned. The right course of action would have been to wait until it is actually orphaned. By our rules, lkirk is still welcome to submit their recording until the BC reopens the section. If they submit it and it gets PL OKed, their recording will be the one used in the catalog. Your contributions and speedy work are appreciated, but we do ask everyone to respect everyone's claims.

Again, my sincere apologies to anyone inconvenienced or offended. Thanks to llkirk for understanding. The upside is that my post of the mistakenly recorded section was occasioned by my departure to visit family in Canada's Rocky mountains. Hotsprings and computers don't mix, so it was a choice of send now or keep the whole production waiting another month. The upside? The hotsprings are all one could wish.
