Hello there! I would like to volunteer to read sections 11 and 12 if they are still available.
Thank you,
Oliver
Thank you,
Oliver
section 7 reminds me why I keep coming back to Librivox. This reading - not the text, but the reading - combines poetry with science. Thank you!
a few PL notes.
Please add "part 1" at 0.26
at 9:25 (p. 71) there's a missing clause, from "and if... to retarding the fall."
optional:
at 17:40, 3.21 and 4.38 degrees Fahrenheit. Usual scientific reading would be "three point two one" and "four point three eight" rather than "point twenty-one" and "point thirty-eight."
at about 12:10, viz. in english is usually rendered as "namely,". The latin is videlicit, which I consider appropriate in a scientific context too. This is an optional edit.
Thanks for your beautiful reading

Section 8 PL notes:
at 0.21 please include Chapter number and "part 2" rather than "section 8"
at 0.48, (p. 76) I hear 76 degrees or 80 degrees, text says 75 degrees or...
at 4:50: the table wouldn't be too hard to read if you want to include it (p. 80)
at 17:10 and 17:25, optional - viz. again, and i.e., which is often read as you read it, but can also be read "that is" or id est.
Thank you for a dizzying reading

I was planning to get to it this weekend since we don't have a DPL yet. But I am swamped with work at the moment and appreciate the help very much!
If we don't have a DPL by this weekend I will PL your sections.

Welcome to LibriVox! I see that both of you have claimed sections 11 and 12. However, since Oliver has claimed them just a few hours before you, Crystal, I'll assign sections 11 and 12 to Oliver. Please let me know if you would like to read any other open sections.
