the story as such would be an excellent choice for this collection, but, as I understood it, you want to record the entire book as solo, is that correct ? For that you would have to include the first story as well in your collection. And we do not use the same recording for two different projects, I'm afraid. There would be the possibility to record the same story twice, but if you are like me, you won't enjoy doing double work. So I would suggest using another story for this collection, or a poem, as you wish.brianeanna wrote: ↑December 30th, 2021, 10:29 amYou'll know that I intend to record this collection of folklore tales, all of which are standalone items: https://archive.org/details/ansgealuidhegae00hydegoog/page/292/mode/2up
It occurs to me that I might record the first of these stories, "An Sagart agus an t-Easpag" ("The Priest and the Bishop") for your multilingual collection. It's a lively adventure story with several twists and turns, and it's no more than ten minutes long, I'd guess. The added advantage is that the pdf provides a facing-page French translation, which would be a great help for readers of your collection.
