Hi, Language tags at IA are not working: On https://archive.org/details/librivoxaudio , it says there are 16,244 results, but only 69 items in English, 2 in German, and 1 in French. :hmm: It is not possible to have a list of all LibriVox recording in a given language. librivox.org is not really better. It is not possible (or at least difficult) to select at the same time, a Genre/Subject and a Language. Thanks, Yann

Can't speak for the archive.org search, but to search Genre/Subject and Language together, in the LibriVox catalog, you can use the Advanced search option. The link to the Advanced Search form is directly under the Search by Author, Title, Reader box on the catalog pages.

To be clearer, the issue with searching in IA is because the language tags were not set properly when uploading the files there. For other projects, there is no such issue.

This would require a reprogramming of our cataloging system and a manual edit of all the 16,000+ projects at Archive, if we wanted to make the change retroactive. It would be nice to be able to search at Archive by language, but I'm not sure that it is a high priority programming change. We don't have any programmers "on staff" (they are all volunteer, and they only change things in fits and starts depending on availability and desire), so it could take quite a while to make this change.

Like Jo said, though, our Advanced Search on the LV site does have the option to search by language. The search here is imperfect, though. :)
