Anyone else doing NaNoWriMo this month??
(Clarification: Not the LV form of NaNoWriMo.)
I plunged in this morning and have already surpassed my word count goal for the day.
Whether it's any "good" or not, is an irrelevant question.
But it's a nice start, after a few "bad" years' efforts gone by.

Good for you! Every year I think I will, and every year November rolls around and I have no ideas. I keep thinking I need to use time in October to outline something so I have a project ready to go...maybe I'll try to work on my languishing nonfiction projects instead, in the spirit of the thing....

Ah, but you still have a few hours of November 1st left! 8-)
And you can be what NaNoWriMo calls a "pantser" -- No plot? No idea? No problem! Do it anyway!
I've found that ideas come as I am writing; the best ones are not the ones I have tried to think up & work out before "writing" per se.
...and... you can be a NaNoWriMo "rebel" -- writing something that is not necessarily a longish piece of fiction.

What is NaNoWriMo? National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) is an annual event in which participants commit to writing a 50,000-word novel between November 1st and 30th. It began in 1999 as a challenge between friends, but NaNoWriMo has since grown into a global writing marathon with hundreds of thousands of participants each year!

I didn't do any plotting or outlining, but I'm seeing if I can write more than usual this month. Who knows, maybe 50k isn't such a big goal after all.

It's happening...
(never mind, for now, whether it's "good")
