Good Evening!

I would love to be apart of this project. I would like to record Sections: 11, 14, & 78, if they have not yet been claimed.

Thank you,

Thanks.

Section 6 (Clara Jones) has been recorded. I'm pretty sure I recorded the correct one, but please advise if I've accidentally recorded the wrong section.

Yes, this is the correct one.
You did leave off the 3 at the end of the file name. Just a copy and paste mistake, but I added it and it is fine,

You did neglect to read 408 Cannon Street at the beginning, so this will need to be added. But please wait for you full PL report.

Thank you!

Well Larry pretty much summed up what needs to be fixed in the recording.

At ~0:27 add "408 Cannon Street"

You do have a high level of background noise. You don't have to fix it here, but since you are editing the file anyway, I would suggest using the Noise Reduction feature in Audacity to bring it down a little.

Everything else in the recording is absolutely fine. :)

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,

Section 39 - Ransome

https://librivox.org/uploads/maryannspiegel/slavenarrativesvol11pt2_39_various_128kb.mp3
2.03

I had a friend who, like the man mentioned in this narrative, married his first wife twice. He was an elderly Polish Jew who thought his wife had died in Auschwitz so he married again only to discover that his wife had survived. After his second wife died he remarried his first wife and they moved to Oxford.
