I just wanted to pop in because I saw reference to a program that allows you to easily edit ID3 tags. It seems to make mass editing much easier, although I must admitt I haven't actually tried it.

System requirements

Pentium or Amd 133 Mz IBM PC compatible computer (or higher)
Windows 95/98/ME/NT 4.0/2000/XP or later
32 Mb RAM, this Program takes 5Mb to run
10 MB of free hard disk space. 5MB for Program + 5MB for temporary files
Internet Explorer 4 or higher
SVGA card (Min 800x600, 256 colors or higher)
It sounds similar to "MP3 ID3X" for the Mac PPC
