Act 2:

Act 3:

Act 4:
https://librivox.org/uploads/toddhw/younevercantell_finchmccomas_4.mp3

NOTE FOR PROOF LISTENER: I have to point out an intentional double-recording in Act 4. At time stamp 2:25 I simply recorded "Simul..." and between 2:32-2:39 I recorded the various parts of words that were shared by McComas, Gloria, Valentine and Mrs. Clandon. It was not clear to me if you or Todd were going to piece the parts together or if I just did not understand the script properly, so I recorded it both ways. If I missed it altogether just tell me and I will correct. Thank you!

Greg
The lines at the very beginning of Act II marked "The Gentleman" also belong to Finch McComas -- Sorry! I know this is confusing!

Since all of these sections are marked PL OK does your message mean I have to change Act 4? I just want to clarify. Thanks!

No, it's Act II. While I was editing together this act, I found something that our DPL missed. It's confusing because Shaw has labeled the character "The Gentleman" instead of "McComas." Sorry about that, folks. The playwright does this with a couple different characters throughout the play.

I mistakenly referenced Act 4. I suppose my question is do I need to fix Finch McComas' lines for Act 2 to include " The Gentleman?"

Thanks!

Yes, that would probably be the simplest way to handle it. Just add those few lines to the beginning of that file and upload it again.

I can't find a spot where you actually say "Valentine read by Cavaet." I need one of those for the Dramatis Personae list.

Here is Finch McComas, Act 2 with "The Gentleman" lines added at the beginning of the scene. Everything from time stamp 1:15 and beyond is exactly as originally posted and proofed. Only the lines prior to this point are new, save the voice credit.

I hope this completes the part!

Take care,

Greg

I am so sorry to be lagging behind on this project

Should finally be able to have some time to knock this out this weekend.

At the pace I'm currently working with the editing, that should time out perfectly! :D
