Hi Cathy! Welcome to Librivox!

Your sound is nice and clear! However, the bitrate is wrong.
If you're using Audacity, when you go to export to mp3, check the options and choose "Constant" for Bit Rate Mode, and then "128 kbps" for Quality. When you click "Save" to export, Audacity will also keep the correct settings for your future exports.
Then upload your new file here to check again.

Volume is within desired range, on the low end of it, so take care not to go any lower. I think you'll be alright! But if you'd like to keep an eye on volume, I would suggest using the Checker to measure volume of your mp3, and adjust if needed - ideal volume is 89dB, and anything within the range of 86-92 is still OK. Here's more info on the Checker: https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=Checker

Here is my new and hopefully improved test. Thanks in advance for your comments! I do use Audacity with a laptop clip-on Samson mic.
