PL note:
I listened to this 33:29 recording, Narrator for Act II.
I am slowly educated, into 18-minute of the recording, I start to realize that you might have INTENTIONALLY avoided a 3-5 second silence between two STAGE DIRECTION if the two STAGE DIRECTION immediately follow one another in the way that one is at the end of one paragraph and another is at the beginning of the following paragraph.
Thus there are only two spots I wish you may have a look at. The rest spots for the "3-5 second silence" are still listed here but I doubt it is necessary for you to look at them.
13:30 - 13:32 repeated "Gan. (goes" in "Gan. (goes slowly up stage, pauses, turns—is about to speak, thinks better of it)"
32:49 missing "turns out gas", which is supposed to be followed by a 3-5 second silence, before the STAGE DIRECTION "Dor. (in an amazed whisper)"
3:14 missing a 3-5 second silence before the STAGE DIRECTION "Kez. (fingering top of chair L.) "
3:47 missing a 3-5 second silence before the STAGE DIRECTION "Gan. (speaking sadly)"
4:44 missing a 3-5 second silence before the STAGE DIRECTION "Car. (puts cloth on table, crosses to mantel and gets matches off bracket)"
6:48 missing a 3-5 second silence before the STAGE DIRECTION "Car. (to Keziah)"
7:59 missing a 3-5 second silence before the STAGE DIRECTION "Kez. (meekly)"
10:31 missing a 3-5 second silence before the STAGE DIRECTION "Dor. (crosses to top of table)"
11:26 missing a 3-5 second silence before the STAGE DIRECTION "Pil. (turning at garden door)"
11:38 missing a 3-5 second silence before the STAGE DIRECTION "Dor. (following)"
13:04 missing a 3-5 second silence before the STAGE DIRECTION "Gan. (comes down to chair R.)"
15:31 missing a 3-5 second silence before the STAGE DIRECTION "Cray. (at window)"
15:48 missing a 3-5 second silence before the STAGE DIRECTION "Cray. (looking round kitchen)"

Sorry again about your new editions. The Narrator for Act I from MW, which is 36:44, instead of 36:51, is good for PL OK to me.
I guess you want to keep the new version that is linked in MW (36:44), not the new link in this message (36:51). (even though both versions seem perfect to me ^_^)
I also double-checked the other two Acts, lucky that the links in MW and the links in your response messages of this forum are consistent for Act II and for Act III.

Jessie

Hi the links automatically update in the MW when you upload the new file as long as it has the same filename. I just like to post them in the thread so PL'ers don't have to go searching for them in the MW. Many thanks for all your help very much appreciated.UPRG11W wrote: ↑April 24th, 2021, 6:31 pm PL note:
Sorry again about your new editions. The Narrator for Act I from MW, which is 36:44, instead of 36:51, is good for PL OK to me.
I guess you want to keep the new version that is linked in MW (36:44), not the new link in this message (36:51). (even though both versions seem perfect to me ^_^)
I also double-checked the other two Acts, lucky that the links in MW and the links in your response messages of this forum are consistent for Act II and for Act III.

This 36:51 recording, Narrator for Act I, is perfect for PL OK.
