COMPLETE Short Poetry Collection 214 - rap
Dear Rapunzelina,
Here is my second recording for this month.
Poem: Clay, by Edward Verral Lucas (1868-1938)
Duration: 1:20
Audio URL: https://librivox.org/uploads/rapunzelina/spc214_clay_128kb.mp3
Text URL: https://www.gutenberg.org/files/2622/2622-h/2622-h.htm#link2H_4_0047
Before submitting the next, I could record a fourth to to compensate for January, if you'd like.
Best,
Ike

Awww, thank you Ike, it's really sweet of you to offer but it wouldn't work with the limit we have set to three poems per month, and I can't go back to add to an already catalogued project unfortunately .

I meant to mention it in your previous upload but forgot, about including your initial in the filename, like so for example: spc214_clay_ids_128kb No problem for these as I can fix when cataloguing, but something to keep in mind for future uploads.
Also, did you find out what is causing the difference in sound? Did you change anything in your recording setup recently? Not a problem, just curious.

Oh Thank you, Tally! I like this poem!
Just one fix needed. Probably by mistake the "Read for Librivox.org" was also pasted at the end, but there we need the "End of poem. This recording is in the Public Domain"
Thanks!

Hi, Adam! Welcome to the poetry collection!
Sounds like all worked great with your upload!
And your recording is PL OK!
Everything perfect!
If I had to comment on something, I would just mention that it's very much preferred to use gutenberg.org as a text source if the chosen poem can be found there, or scans of books published 1925. The reason is that later publications might have edits that are copyrighted, as the page you linked to states that the poem was taken from Magma No. 32, Summer 2005.
Fortunately the text is the same as the one in gutenberg.org http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/52761
