Hi randyj, 74:21 will be ok. We generally consider 74 minutes to be the max, but the 21 seconds over isn't enough to be worried about. Looking forward to your recording. :)

Hi Randy, Thanks for your contribution! :D This chapter of telephone history picks up at a most interesting point. "To the general public, it was a mere scientific toy; but there were a few men, not many, in these wire-stringing trades, who saw a glimmering chance of creating a telephone business."

You read very well. Good luck with your return to voice work!

I was a telecommunications technician for 31 years and still do some contract telecom work. Now that I'm retired I'm hoping to get back into some voice work.

Thanks Randy :D

Herbert Newton Casson wrote an interesting article and you made it more interesting with your reading style.

One small error noted:

44:08 These boys had a benefactor in an old bachelor named Thomas Bond. – you said old school teacher

Thanks Randy.

I guess you really want him to be a school teacher so I'll make it PLOK

I am very sorry I did that. Somehow, I wrote "schoolteacher" when I wrote the script for the one-sentence correction. I apologize. Here's the corrected version.

Yeah she sounds like she was actually a little wacky, but the article was still interesting...
