I put this one off much longer than intended, but better late than never!
Section 4: Sister Maddelena
https://librivox.org/uploads/availle/blackspiritsandwhite_04_cram_128kb.mp3
Time: 35:06
The last two stories are shorter - with any luck that should make it harder to procrastinate. I don't think I'll manage to get this wrapped up by the end of the month as originally intended, but should definitely be done sometime in the first week of March.
Thanks!

Availle - I've been tinkering with the summary, but I think I'm happy with the version that currently appears in the first post. If you think anything should be changed let me know, otherwise you can consider the current version final. Thanks!

PL notes:
At around 13:12 an intrusive "to" can be heard : "would have aroused to the other inmates of the convent." Also,
at 13:42: "climbed to the rope"
~ 13:48 the word "little" was skipped. The recording goes " with but three craggy resting-places" while the text says
"with but three little craggy resting-places"
~ 16:05 there seems to be an intrusive "to": "fastened to the note to the rope". The text goes " fastened the note to the rope".
~ 21:19 There's a missing word. I can hear "plainly as in life", while the text goes "as plainly as in life"
~ 26:14 I hear "There seemed to no answer", while the text is "There seemed no answer"
What a good story! Romantic and creepy.

Thanks for listening!
I definitely appreciate your attention to detail, but keep in mind that this is a Standard PL Level project, not Word Perfect. I don't feel like any of these affect the meaning, nor would they be noticeable without following along with the text. For the time being I've left them as is.Dulcamara wrote: ↑February 26th, 2021, 2:31 pm 13:42: "climbed to the rope"

Regarding the following:
I'm not hearing a "to" in any of these - I think I just overemphasize the ending of certain "-ed" words
I've tried to clarify them. New version is waiting in the MW as well as linked below:
