I uploaded section A of my chapter (III.6). This is my first recording, though, so please tell me if anything needs fixed. As soon as I know that everything came through OK, I'll upload the other 2 sections.
Thanks,
Sheila

I read Northanger Abbey too. I am very glad that you do this book (I want to read it after Northanger Abbey). As I didn't see that you have a prooth listener, I'll take the post. I'll start as soon as I can. Let me know if there are speshal rules. Let me know if you don't need my help.

Stav,

Thanks for offering your proofing services! We'll be happy to have you. Just post your comments here, and I or the MC will translate them to the MB at the first post.

No special rules for proofing - just listen for pauses that are too long or blatant errors.

Welcome to the project,
Michelle

[quote="mcrandall"]OK, ZachBG, you are all Hi all!
I will start to listen to the project and make sure that everything is alright when the first two or three chapters will be up. I hope it will happen soon.

I think I encoded those two sections above at 192kbps instead of 128!
Ah well. Also, the listen link isn't working right now either, so I'm wondering what I should do next. I await your instructions Michelle.

I'd also like to claim sections 33 and 34.

You're signed up for 33 & 34, thanks.

I will defer to our MC to tell us if the kbps matter? I honestly don't know.

I have to find out how to list two "Listen!" links there, and I just haven't been able to do that yet. The links in your prior post are working, at least when I try them, for the time being.

Sorry I'm not more helpful right off!

'allo! I'll be posting an introduction in the newbies thread in a minute, but I'd like to get in on this project. I've never read the book and I'm unfamiliar with it, but I'd like to record a few chapters anyway (and listen to the rest when they're done!).

Can I have Vol IV, chapters 12 and 13 (50 and 51 in the list)? Thanks! I'd be able to start on it in about a week or so, I just need to get a microphone for my laptop.

Would you like to enter me into the magic window as the dedicated proof listener of this project?
