Section 33 ("How a Samurai committed Hara-kiri") has been orphaned. Any takers?

Thanks for verifying! The readings in 25 and 26 are totally fine. There's just one technical improvement I'd like to ask you to do. You reading has a wide dynamic range, which gives it a nice vivid character, but creates some difficulties for the listener. I find that when I turn the volume down, I can't make out some of the words that are pronounced softly, and when I turn the volume up, some of the emphatically pronounced words are hurting my ears. Luckily, this can be easily solved using compression. I believe you use Audacity, so here are the steps.

Select the whole track, go to Effects->Compressor, and use the following settings:
- lower the Threshold sliding bar to -20 dB
- check the box "Compress based on peaks"
- uncheck the box "Make up for gain..."
- keep defaults for the other settings.

This eliminates large jumps in volume, yielding more even dynamics. Audacity will remember these compressor settings for future tracks. After that, with the entire track still selected, please use the Amplify effect with -4 in the Amplification box to reduce the volume by 4 dB.

This is fairly straightforward, and you may consider using compression in your other contributions as well, but if you're having difficulty with this operation, let me know and I can do it for you.

I'll listen to section 27 tomorrow. Here are our wiki pages about compression and amplification for reference:

Thanks,
Michael

Great! Sections 25 and 26 are PL OK.

Section 27 is much improved! :) There's a couple of little stumble/repeats that need to be edited out:

(8:50) informed him that... that
(12:57) examined in... into her strength

Also, please apply the same compression/de-amplification steps to this section.

Thanks,
Michael
