The way you did it is fine! If you do want to make more of a targeted response (I'm not sure if it counts as what you'd call a "direct reply"), you can do what I've done here. Click the little quotation mark icon in the top corner of the post you want to respond to. Then that post will be embedded in yours, and you can type your response below it, just as I've done here. Most of the time, quoting a post like this will send that person a notification. (But not always. It depends on their settings. The default setting, if I recall correctly, is to notify. But some people may choose to turn that off.)

I guess I am a bit confused by this section:

Is it to be treated like a play with only the lines to be read and not the name of the character, i.e. hen and cock?

If that is the case, then I would have benefited from more distinction between the voices.

SmilingJade, do you have someone with a deeper voice that could read the lines of the cock?

If the character names are to be read, then all that needs to be done for this to be PL OK is for the word "Hen" to be inserted before the first line.

Silverquill, your thoughts?

Good question....I am relatively new to this...so I have my husband that can read the male voice.
Hence, not sure how to handle that...

Please advise if I need to redo or you are specifically looking for someone else and I will gladly bow out.
