[COMPLETE] A Selection from the Norse Tales for the Use of Children by Sir George-mtf
Greetings -
Chapters 2, 6, and 11:
Well, adrianstephens has done his normal fine job of reading, getting us through heads being wrung off, ogres bursting in the sunlight, and nasty old queens being torn asunder by 12 stallions. These fairy tales are grimmer than Grimms' fairy tales.
Anyway, they are now listed as PL OK.

This is definitely the longest piece I've done so far, so please let me know if any edits need to be made. Thanks!
No edits need to be made, kharrelson. Your reading is PL OK.
As a suggestion, you might want to read just a bit slower to keep your sentences from running into each other.
Looking forward to hearing more from you.

Thank you for the comment, I'll keep that in mind for my next recording. And yes, I am very excited to do more stuff for LibriVox and will get this re-submitted with the 8:21 correction.lomond wrote: ↑February 18th, 2021, 12:00 am Greetings -
Chapter 7:
A first time reading from CalenB for me.
Overall, a good effort. Just one correction needed and a comment.
TIME: 08:21 TEXT: "was that had strewed flowers about the door-sill." Reading has "door-still" instead of "door-sill".
You might consider reading just a bit slower which will make it easier to follow the story.
Thanks much for this reading. More coming?

Welcome to LibriVox. I give you fair warning that this can become a delightful consuming passion demanding more and more of your time and attention.
I normally wait until a file is put in the "Magic Window" before I Proof Listen to it. But, I did run it through the Checkr software and it meets all of our technical requirements so you're off to a good start there.
Stay tuned for a report on the file.
Thanks for volunteering.

I've checked the technical specs and they are all perfect.
Just a sample listening of your recording, and it sound just wonderful.
Our DPL, Lomond, will be along to give you a full report -- if he doesn't lose electrical power again.

Thank you, I'm so glad you liked it, I really enjoyed doing the recording. Could I do the last section, Bushy Bride, please? I'll wait to hear back from the DPL before starting.silverquill wrote: ↑February 19th, 2021, 2:57 pmThank you for the quick recording for this long chapter!Katharina21 wrote: ↑February 19th, 2021, 2:33 pm Hello,
