I hope I did all this right, this is my first!

I will try to sign up for another chapter or two!

I would love to do Chapter 8 if that's okay. This will be my first recording and I've been reading other posts. I'll be happy to email you a test recording sometime this weekend. I'm anxious to get started.

Thanks! Kat :D

Thank you very much, Nancy! I haven't listened to the whole thing yet, but what I heard sounded good.

Note that I changed the file name a little -- vampyre rather than vampire, and added a t at the end -- and the ID3 tag (so the title is "07 - Chapter 7"; this may not have been quite clear in my first post).

Here's the updated link: http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/200711/varneythevampyre_vol1_07_prest.mp3

Sooo ... can I interest you in another chapter?

That's great, Kat -- please do!

Could you let me know your catalogue name and URL (if any), please?

Thank you!

Nancy -- chapter 7 is very nicely read, thank you!

A couple of small things: There's a little thump in the background around 6.24 (after "into which daylight, I presume, cannot penetrate"), and it needs five seconds of silence at the very end of the file. Do you want to fix those yourself, or would you like me to do it? Either way is okay with me!

Cheers,
Annika

Yes please! Could you let me know how you'd like your name to appear on the catalogue, and a URL, if any? And if it's your first recording, it might be an idea to submit a short sample - 1 minute or so - just to check that your setup works okay.

Thank you!

Annika

Here are my sections!

After the holidays, I will probably come back for more, if there are still chapters to be claimed. It's a really interesting book so far!

Thank you, Sibella! I had a very quick listen, and noticed that chapter 10 is missing the outro -- could you add it and re-upload, please?

Everything else sounded fine!

Cheers,
Annika

Thank you! :D

And I'm sure there'll be chapters left when you come back -- there's plenty of them. ;)
