Thank you! Everything is good except the volume is too low at 83 DB. We ask that it be between 86 and 92 DB - ideally around 89 DB.joegrimer wrote: ↑February 9th, 2021, 3:07 pm Section 15 Recorded

If you could amplify it and reupload, that would be great!

I'm afraid you missed that it continues on the next page! An easy mistake to make! (Read till the heading that says "Current Affairs")
Also, the intro is missing the bolded part below:
Also, the "copyright" part you read at the end does not need to be included."Section [number] of G.K. Chesterton's Newspaper Columns: The New Witness - 1922. This is a LibriVox recording. All LibriVox recordings are in the public domain. For more information, or to volunteer, please visit: librivox DOT org"
"G.K. Chesterton's Newspaper Columns: The New Witness - 1922, by G. K. Chesterton. [Section]"
And at the end, please do not include this part, as it is only included in the last section of the project
"End of G.K. Chesterton's Newspaper Columns: The New Witness - 1922, by G. K. Chesterton. "
You did a good job! If you could record the missing part, fix the intro and outro issues and reupload, that would be great!

Hi Gillis,
Welcome to Librivox!
Here is the text: https://archive.org/details/stonehendge-modern-myth/StonehedgePage1.jpg
Be aware that the column continues on the second page (Until it says "The Pathway of Reform").
It is faded/bright on the second page, and the text is harder to decipher.
Let me know if you want to do it or not.
Took me a bit to figure out how to fix this. I used Audacity Amplify with the suggested number from mp3gain?m8b1 wrote: ↑February 9th, 2021, 4:38 pmThank you! I don't know if it's a help, but I found no. 26, Stonehenge and a Modern Myth under the name "The Myth of the Mayflower" here: http://www.gkc.org.uk/gkc/books/Fancies_Versis_Fads.txt I don't know if the other sections are there too, or not.
Here is section 26, length 14:30

I knew various newspaper columns were reprinted in books, but I didn't go looking for these. It would be useful if we can't read some of the text from the scans... I wonder if the one or two I didn't include because the scans were so bad were reprinted in collections.Gillis wrote: ↑February 12th, 2021, 5:46 am I don't know if it's a help, but I found no. 26, Stonehenge and a Modern Myth under the name "The Myth of the Mayflower" here: http://www.gkc.org.uk/gkc/books/Fancies_Versis_Fads.txt I don't know if the other sections are there too, or not.
