I'm sorry but I won't be able to complete my cover assignment for The Surgeon's Daughter. I'm stumped. Someone else will have better luck coming up with an appropriate design. Again, my apologies.

I have removed your claim Michele, thanks for letting us know.

This seems to be a difficult one indeed - the summary doesn't tell much detail, whereas the wikipedia entry for the book shows a rather meandering plotline. :? I guess I'll do something generic, especially since we don't seem to have the other books in that series yet.
Cheers, Ava.

My attraction to the project was to gain an acquaintance with Sir Walter Scott's writing. Alas, I can't speed read, so I listened to several chapters but it still hadn't gotten much into "the surgeon" or "the daughter". All I know is it has to do with an orphan sailing to India and the British East India Company.

A generic cover? I hadn't thought of that!! I look forward to seeing what you come up with.
