Hello.
There many ways to help How to Volunteer
However if you want to start from recording, it would be great for you to make sure that all your tech specs are correct. For this reason please take http://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/1-Minute_Test, it's not an audition, so don't worry. After that you can take any available section, thought it's better to start with short ones for example from this forumReaders Wanted: Short Works (Poetry & Prose). This way you'll know how everything works here.

I see you are already rushing into battle! That's good, but you need to take a 1-minute test first to get comfortable with the technical side of things. All useful links have already been given to you here.
