 Thanks! You must be a busy person, because this is the wrong link!

Never fear, though. I've done the same thing. And I was able to find the correct file without trouble. https://librivox.org/uploads/mightyfelix/aladdin_slave_14_128kb.mp3

And, even better, it is now PL ok!

In the interest of getting this in the catalogue, can I take Servant?

Please let me know if I missed anything. Thank you.
Thank you, Thoria! There are just a couple of corrections needed. :)

0:35 You left out the Caravan, p. 248: "Through the noontide's glare...."
0:45 The name is not right here. I'm sure that it is because of the difficult font and poor quality of the scan, but the name here is "The holy Fatima." I hear, "The holy Fatims."
Thank you so much for pointing that out.
I made the necessary changes and listened to it again.

Hello, I apologize for taking so long to get the Architect corrections done. Hopefully this will look after it. The new file is 3 min, 36 seconds.

*facepalm*

My brain is having a hard time keeping Aladdin and Arabian Nights straight, apparently.

Well, I can certainly see why the workflow is set up the way is :D

Thank you, Anya! Act 4 is perfect, short and sweet!

For act 7, it seems I owe you an apology. I forgot to make note in that act that I'd like you to read the lines for "Guard" as well. Didn't make sense to me to cast two guards when one would do the job just fine. There are four "Guard" lines on page 176, one on 184, and one on 185. Do you mind adding those?

(Oh yes, and your volume for both of these is just a tad high, especially for act 7. It doesn't matter much for a dramatic reading, since I'll be adjusting volume anyway, but you may need to keep an eye on it for other kinds of projects.)
here are the lines for the guard for act 7!

PL ok, thank you! Again, your volume is a bit high here. You'll need to bring it down if you do any readings for non-dramatic works. :) Also, I didn't mention it earlier, but the brackets shouldn't be included in your file name. Again, it's not a big deal for dramatic stuff, but for anything else, it would be. :)

Thanks again!

Yes, this is great! Now PL ok! I realized while looking over my notes to you that I actually gave you a wrong note, about where to add space for stage directions. But it's no big deal. There's enough space for me to work with. I only mention it in order to apologize if that note was confusing. It confused me, anyway!

Here's the Servant. I would offer to take the last remaining role, but these two characters occupy the same space.

Thanks, Chuck! Yes, that wouldn't work. But I appreciate the offer. There may be some orphans soon, though, if you care to lurk for a bit.

I need a couple of edits on this one.

1:31 Missing phrase, p. 248 (underlined): "Bearing back a treasure priceless--peace of heart--/Peace and hope, that never from our eyes shall part."
3:09 Missed cut (p. 261). "...stem doth bear. These shall be- the- These shall be emblems..."
Also, I just realized that there is one more line for "Elves" that I didn't note in the MW, on page 262. Would you mind tacking that one on to the end?

Here is section 12 - 'Sentinel' and 'Two Others' -
I tried to vary the voices a bit - it seemed to me that each of the 'two others' comes from different spirits.
Anyway, here it is - coming in at 8:40 long :

Thanks, Doug! And yes, I think you're right about each pair of "Others" being a different pair. However, if I were truly to make those kinds of distinctions everywhere in this text, that would quickly multiply an already large cast to an unmanageable level!

I will listen soon. Not tonight. :)
