Hi GJ,
This has been happening more often lately. If you log out and then back in to the uploader it should clear it up. I will see if I can find your recordings. It looks like there are only partial links in the ones you pasted in.
I can fix them when cataloging but if you have any updates needed that the prooflistener finds please use this filename convention:
northernspy_##_warren_128kb.mp3 (all lower-case) where ## is the section number (e.g. northernspy_01_warren_128kb.mp3)

Here is what I noticed during my first listen of chapters 5 and 6. I understand that some of these may be deliberate interpretive choices and not errors. Since I cannot read minds, I simply list my observations and leave it up to you to ignore or correct as you see fit. If there is something that I have missed, I welcome your comments.

Chapter 5
beep at the beginning
0:26 beep
0:56 aspirated sound instead of "gad"
3:13 "set" instead of "act"
3:14 "the" read twice
4:39 "captain" instead of "lieutenant"
6:35 bad edit
10:26 "such" instead of "much"
13:00 "cavalrymen" is unintelligible
14:28 "to the" is missing
17:02 "asked" instead of "cried"
over 2 minutes of silence at the end of the recording


Chapter 6
0:46 "and" missing
2:32 stutter and repeated "no"
2:37 "an" missing
2:55 "by" instead of "upon"
2:57 The pause between "blank" and "leaf" is too long. It makes it appear that "leaf" is the beginning of another clause.

Well done! The recordings are very clear and compelling. I especially liked the pace of the reading, as it heightened the action of the chase. The mistakes I noticed were mostly extra or missing connective words that did not change the meaning. The only exception to that is "the country" instead of "country". In my mind the former evokes patriotism, while the latter simply refers to the physical characteristics of a place. As far as I am concerned this is the only thing that must be corrected. I am still new at this, so I leave the final decision to you.

I put the status of this chapter as "PL OK", because this minor addition of two words makes no difference.

Thank you for such a close and careful reading Óscar! I made the following fixes:

0:38 cut "the"
2:52 re-recorded phrase as it was clear that I misread it and misplaced emphasis even with the word cut out.
14:07 cut "the"
16:08 cut "the"

I don't think the others change the meaning enough to worry about. Let me know if you think I should change the others as well, but my feeling is if the meaning isn't changed and we aren't going for word perfect recording, it can slide.
