Hi Craig, Thanks for this contribution! :D It reads fine except for one place where you have captured Heine's intent accurately but not his words. You can correct this or not, as you please.

p. 13, 10:06. Text reads "... "there is the story of the forbidden tree in Paradise and of the serpent, that little private tutoress who lectured on Hegelian philosophy six thousand years before Hegel's birth." You said "little private torture-ess"

Hi. I'd be interested in doing a chapter using "HOW A FAST TRAIN IS RUN" from "STORIES OF INVENTORS The Adventures Of Inventors And Engineers. True Incidents And Personal Experiences by RUSSELL DOUBLEDAY." This title was found in your suggested links.

Please let me know if you're interested in adding this one to the collection and I can start on it shortly.

Thanks,
Brett

Hi Brett, Welcome to LibriVox and to the Short Nonfiction Collection! :) A chapter from the Public Domain (1904) Stories of Inventors would be a welcome addition to the collection. I listened to your one-minute test and you have a great reading voice. We're looking forward to your contribution. Procedural details--format for the file name, uploading, etc. are covered in the instructions at the top of the page, but if you run into any problems, feel free to post your questions here, and either I, or our dedicated proof listener Soupy (Craig) will try to help you out.

Hi Sue,
Great! I'll start to put it together in the next few days. Probably take me a week or two to have something ready for PL.

Hi Ted, Welcome to the Short Nonfiction Collection! :D I see Craig, our dedicated proof listener, has already proof listened your selection. I just finished listening myself and really enjoyed this evocation of a lazy morning on the beach --quite a change of scene from the snow outside my window today.
Thank you for your contribution to volume 079!
