I would like to claim what looks to be the only open section 90, for the bereavement please

Thank you

MM
I've put you in for Section 91
Thank you.

Actually there will be some more open sections in a minute because there are a number of claims that have expired, so they will be opened up again for new claims.

I'm still working on my claims while teaching someone how to use Audacity.

Can I claim Sections 9, 13, and 88?

Between illnesses, work, and vacation, May wasn't my best Librivox month. But I'm back and ready to do some more recording, editing, and PLing!

Here is the link to The Loser: https://librivox.org/uploads/maryannspiegel/The_Loser.wav

This is my first upload ever, so let me know if there needs any fixing!

Thank you for you first recording!

Well let's start be a few technical things.
These are all outlined in the instructions at the beginning of the project thread, so you might review them.

===
Save files as
128 kbps MP3
boysandgirls_###_foley_128kb.mp3 (all lower-case) where ### is the section number (e.g. boysandgirls_001_foley_128kb.mp3)
NOTE: All file names must have three digits.
====
So you need to export this as an .mp3 file not a .wav file.
Then use the naming format as given in the instructions. So, it would be: boysandgirls_069_foley_128kb (the .mp3 will be added automatically when you upload it). Make sure you have less than one second of silence at the beginning and about 5 seconds at the end. Also, when you post your link here again, please include the file length as mm:ss.

I appreciate your efforts.

Let me know if you have any questions about this. There is a lot to take in at the beginning, and we are here to help. :)
