Limericks on me brain

kevin s on librivox
gave me some rather depressing shocks
he hinted to the coffin box
and that the death isn't one who knocks
and that it seems to be safer than fort knox
that you won't get out of this bollocks
when trying to be the task fullfilling jocks
and meanwhile i go and feel the spocks
whispering to me in black tones of flocks
(i never claimed to be good in english or rhyming

)

I love to use language that rocks,
But the public domain
Can prove quite a pain
By avoiding such words like the pox.

At a neighbor who constantly talks
Bid her save up her words
To make herself heard
Recording books on LibriVox.
(This may be why my family encouraged me to sign up...)

Or perhaps:
Before I was clapped in the stocks
I protested that all of the mocks
My accusers had noted
Were but classic words quoted
From the library of LibriVox.

There was a young lady from Niger
Who kept a domestic pet tiger

He made such a din,

There once was a fox who wore socks
Who records for the fine LibriVox.
His voices you see
Amazed his BCs
So no one has guessed he’s a fox!
Kinda dumb, but oh well. LibriVox is rather hard to rhyme.

This thread has been haunting me as I finish up my own LibriVox book of nonsense, so here's another entry:

There was a strict reader at LibriVox
Who developed the habit of knitting socks
When submitting the bloopers
In spite of the stupors
That surly strict reader at LibriVox
