Have you recorded before? If not, please do a sound check (preliminary test) before you sign up. These are very long sections to take on as your first recording. The preliminary test will ensure that all of your settings are correct before you begin recording.

Thank you, Kevin. :D

9:54 - Missing text $52 million Total 2,358,430,000 1,177,500,000

26:56 – word change - States on December 15 next, to be accompanied by exchange of views upon this debt question. Our Government has informed them that we do not approve of suspension of the December 15 payments. (You say it just a few seconds earlier though)
Fixed.

I saw that I also said 'accomplished' instead of 'accompanied,' so I fixed that, too. I guess I just make up stuff as I go along!

Just a bit of editing to do now.
0.0 You have stated something prior to the intro. Please delete.
Intro should begin with the section number - "Section 8 of State of the Union Addresses by United States Presidents (1923 - 1932).
2:45 stumble - Credits have been arranged by the Farm Loan Board, and three emergency finance corporations with a total capital of $3,000,000 have insured additional resources to the extent of $12,000,000.
6:10 stumble - The Government does not undertake to reimburse its citizens for loss and damage incurred under such circumstances.
8:42 stumble - Complete reports of what is required will undoubtedly be available early in the session.
12:55 – repeat - In obedience to this mandate the Congress and the States, with one or two notable exceptions, have passed required laws for its administration and enforcement.
16:13 stumbles - In that time, successive annual increases in appropriations for their education total $1,804,325; for medical care, $578,000; and for industrial advancement, $205,000; or $2,582,325 more than would have been spent in the same period on the basis of appropriations for 1923 and the preceding years.
19:45 stumble - which should be done under conditions which will protect our Government and our claimants.
23:53 – stumble - Through its Bureau of Immigration it has been found that medical examination abroad has saved prospective immigrants from much hardship.
23:59 – repeat - Some further legislation to provide for reuniting families when either the husband or the wife is in this country, and granting more freedom for the migration of the North American Indian tribes is desirable.
24:34 – repeat - This has been made possible in part through the service of the Federal Board for Vocational Education, which is cooperating with the States in a program to increase the technical knowledge and skill of the wage earner.

The volume is too loud at 98.9dB. Please reduce the amplification by 10dB.
The bit rate should be 128kbps and constant rather than variable.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

PS, in the future please do not use ‘generated’ silence. It’s ‘dead’ silence and hard on the ears. We recommend ambient background silence.

All of the edits have been made along with the volume however the technical issues are still there. Are you using Audacity? If so, the good news is with Audacity when you get them set, the program remembers them for future exports.
File>Export audio>(wherever you want to save it is fine).
Bit rate should be 'Constant'
Quality 128kbps
Save

Please adjust the ending silence to ~5 seconds. This track is running ~7.5 seconds. Also, please correct the filename. Between the dates should be an _ instead of a -. Thank you. Again, great reading!
