Horror Stories by Ada Buisson (1839 - 1866).

This project is now complete! All audio files can be found on our catalog page: https://librivox.org/horror-stories-by-ada-buisson/

Ada Buisson was a Victorian novelist and short story author. This collection includes her three horror stories, all of which were published in the journal Belgravia in 1867-1869. (Newgatenovelist)

  • Type of proof-listening required (Note: please read the PL FAQ): standard

IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the amount of languishing projects (and hence the amount of files on our hard-pressed server), we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't managed to record anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).
Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process (unless you are the BC or PL). Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

Pnagami has most kindly agreed to PL.
Erin

A note to a prospective MC: the author is new to the catalogue. Not very much is known about her (she died young). In case it helps, I've written the short bio below:
Ada Buisson was a British writer. She published two novels as well as short stories in the periodical Belgravia.

The stories will be read from HathiTrust, but they were all written by a single author (as per the project template). I hope all of that's clear, but if it isn't, do ask!

OK, the MW is up and Pam is in as DPL, thanks Pam! I am inputting the author information right now, thank you for the blurb! That is always very helpful in this situation. As far as the sources, there is no problem with having multiple sources for the stories, since there are more than one. I will need the links so that I can put those into the proper spots on the project page. They will each have their own link on the left hand side of the catalog page, just as happens when there is just one link.

Thank you very much for taking this on!

I remember how to enter the data for each item with multiple-author, multiple-source compilations, but this is one of those odd in-between projects that isn't that and isn't a single, convenient 'all between the front cover and back cover' book. Thanks for clarifying!

I did think that we should put them into each section meta-data as a compilation, but this is just one author. So, just to make life easier, we will just provide the links in a different way.

Off we go to Going Solo!
