Thank you for the recording! I have put it in the MW (magic window) for proof listening. Our prooflistener will let you know in this thread when she has listened to it, either giving it the PL OK (which means: great job, all good), or some PL notes for you to edit and reupload the section.

Let me know if this is OK as it's the first time I've done one here.
everything sounds great! very nice reading. the only thing that needs to be added is the "end of section 2" + 5 seconds of silence after that.

I hope to listen to section 5 soon as well-- hopefully by the weekend!
then we'll be just a few steps from cataloging time!

Hi. Glad it sounded OK. Added the closing... can't believe I forgot that in the first place. You can find it here:

As this is my first time doing anything here I'm curious what happens when the whole collection is published. Will be fun to see the final product.

Apologies for the long delay, really appreciate your patience. Here is my recording for Chp. 5

Thanks again :)
very nice work! here are a few PL notes:

- cut about 5 seconds of silence at the beginning. there should be a little less than half a second before the reading begins.
1:23 (optional fix) a very mild fumble on "lovely" -- you could leave this as is and I think listeners will follow it just fine
at 3:12 - "half death" should be "half dead"
15:44-46 (optional fix) a noticeably long pause
19:12 a small stumble on "several smaller fish"
22:49 small stumble on "I am Mr. Li"
and the ending silence is also a little bit long. 4-5 seconds is plenty.

thank you for your reading on this. I found myself quite absorbed in the story.

Thank you for the comments, and I'm glad you enjoyed it. Here is the version with the edits you suggested:

I have edited and reuploaded section 3. I'll proof it later tonight if I have time, and then this project will be ready for the catalog
