Here it is--fixed!: https://librivox.org/uploads/kitty/worldstory_volume14_037_ploetz_128kb.mp3

Here is Section 44, but ignore it for the near future :

nothing will be ignored, Jim. Since I started with your sections, I checked them all now and 42 and 37 are already PL ok.

A few small corrections for 44 though:

> at 3:40: (p. 219) could you please also include the page number for the family tree references, in case listeners want to check it out: "cf the genealogical table p. 220)

> at 19:51: (p. 224) stumble and repeat can be cut: "the successor"

> at 21:52: (p. 224) "1237, November" can you include November here please, then you can cut that date out entirely at 22:05

thanks

wow what an eventful "newer" history. I can see that those sections are much more precise in detail  excellent narration, Colleen, and totally flawless  PL ok right away. What a feat for such a long section.

Thank you

Section 40!

I have really enjoyed making these recordings.
I'm happy to hear you are enjoying this. I am definitely enjoying your narrations :9:

Section 45 is now PL ok,

but I found a few small things to edit for Section 40 (btw kudos for the cool pronunciations of the Scandinavian names  )

> at 0:27: (p. 207) between the title "The North" and "northern historians": could you also put the subtitle, "Denmark", so listeners know what country we are dealing with first ?

> at 5:56-6:01: (p. 208) "see p. 203 where the discrepancy in date is to be noted" - can be cut as it's a page reference that is of no big use here for us

> at 6:51: (p. 208)" died in 885" - you say "865"

thank you

Much interest in all the legal shenanigans going around as each group tried to wrest legal control from other colonists.
thank you, Todd, a wonderful narration again and totally PL ok as well. (and we are at 50% completed now  )

You made this last job easy and now I caught up with the backlog in this proejct (for the moment at least  ) Listening to this colonists history I see before my mental eye the reenactments they are still doing in Boston I think, totally dressed up in period clothes and all. 8-) Ever participated in such an event ?

My reenactments are all done on the table top with my toy soldier armies. Mostly with teddy bears....

Thanks, Todd

Here's my first one.

I only looked up about 1 in 10 of the many unfamiliar words I saw. I'm guessing you're probably unfamiliar with a lot of them too, but if you hear something that you know of that I am pronouncing wrong, I'm more than willing to fix it!
