Is this a multilingual project? I'm thinking about reading the Donation of Constantine in the original Latin.

It was set up as an English project. I don't know what Adam would say about turning it multilingual.

If you would be interested in reading something suggested in sections 7 or 8, that would be helpful - or if you have another entry that fits.

"this will be catalogued when it reaches 10 entries, or when readers' interest is lost for more than 3 months consecutively, whichever comes first." So when we get to 10 entries (or if everyone will leave this alone for 3 months), we'll catalog it.

I like the astronomical hoax but I just don't have the time to record 30 pages.

Would you have any interest in me recording another chapter from Bram Stoker's book "Famous Imposters?" I've already posted a story to this project from that book. Please let me know.

Ah - I suppose that's why those haven't been recorded yet. I see that one is about 11,000 words.

Section 8 is only about 4800 words, but it is the old typography with the long S characters.

If one Famous Imposter was accepted, I don't see why another wouldn't be.

I was re-reading the Preface to Stoker's "Famous Imposters" and believe it fits in well with the theme of this book. Here is a link:

Hmm. I think this is getting a little too far out of the original scope of this project. The preface is an overview of sorts. Originally this project was for texts meant to fool people, but was expanded to relations of frauds (rather than the text itself being a fraud). The preface is an overview of the frauds in the Impostors book, rather than a relation of a specific fraud. As such, I would rather not include it here.
