Nice walk done memory lane. The area near Boston was very familiar. My grandmother always claimed that "Peregrine White, first European born in New England" (1620) - from the Mayflower - was an ancestor. We never believed her.

Thanks, Todd
Went to edit and discovered computer is full. Audacity won't open. Trying to Archive and remove old project stuff....

Section 40!

https://librivox.org/uploads/kitty/worldstory_volume14_040_ploetz_128kb.mp3
duration: 9:49

I have really enjoyed making these recordings.
I am so sorry to do this, but unfortunately I won't be able to do section 36, as I will be very busy in the coming weeks. Section 36 is available for anyone who wants it.

Thanks,

Here is Section 58. Length 28:56.

Much interest in all the legal shenanigans going around as each group tried to wrest legal control from other colonists.

Thanks, Todd

OOPS! What a blunder, and I didn't even get drunk over Xmas :help:
 such things can happen to the best ;) got the right file now and it's absolutely PL ok. The idea for "later sections" was quite ingenious but alternatively you could also have left out this sentence.

Thank you, Alan !

thank you, Jim, great job again, and interesting facts I didn't know yet.

Section 38 is straight PL ok.

One small cut for 37:

> at 22:58: (p. 198) repeat: "1036" - you repeat the date after the sentence and it can be cut here, you already said it at the beginning

I think maybe it's the Latin abbreviation.

In any case, all perfectly corrected and PL ok now. Only careful with the filename, you had a double underscore this time: __ which changes the name. No need to reupload anew, I corrected it in the folder just now.

Thanks

I considered leaving out the sentence but thought it would be an easy change to make anyway if you preferred that :D

Hi! Very interesting history here.
May I have the section 60?
Also, I am doing this volunteering as a part of a school project so as evidence, if you don't mind, can you provide me your email?
Thanks.

hello again, Parsa. Thank you for your interest, I'll sign you up. Please check the first post carefully for special rules to this project. It's quite a challenge.
Also, I am doing this volunteering as a part of a school project so as evidence, if you don't mind, can you provide me your email?
sorry, but we don't give out personal email adresses as you can do everything over the forum or in a private message if you wish. Also, we can't officially sign off any school-project requirement forms. So please ask your teacher whether he would accept your finished file as proof that you did something, without us signing anything officially on our side.

Thanks

thanks for letting me know. So do you want to exchange section 36 for 52 ? or don't you want 52 either ?

For the moment I sign you up for 52, let me know if I understood it wrong.

Also: sorry for the delay in PLing (all of you). Unforseen private matters took precedent. I try to catch up in the next days.

Hi Sonia,

I would like to keep section 52, but not section 36. You got it right!

Thanks!

Ugh, sorry. I can't keep my eyes in a straight line toggling between the word doc and the upload window. If I had a brain I'd be dangerous! At least the rest of it is okay.
