Ok, great advice! Thanks. My mom suggested I lower the amplification -2 and re-post, which I think I've done. Don't know if this makes a difference at this point, but here's the result

Too much. Now you're at 84.1db. The first one passed PL; this one will not. The original file is OK. Also, do not add version numbers to your files. If you are asked to replace a chapter (which you were not) use the same file name as directed in the instructions. Uploader overwrites the previous submission so there is only the current one. The BC will now have to delete v2.

Nathan, definitely download the Checker app if you can. It's a huge help on sorting out issues like volume and problematic file names before you upload, I don't know how I ever did without it!

There are no reading errors, but there are some technical issues:

Initial silence 7.0 seconds. S/B 0.5 to 1.0 second.
00:27 - Excessive pause of 4.1 seconds
07:56 - Excessive pause of 6.2 seconds
End silence 14.3 seconds. S/B 5 seconds
Overall volume too low at 82.8db. S/B 86-92db.

I think I fixed the technical issues! It's 7:51 long now.
