OooThatsNifty wrote: December 20th, 2020, 9:16 pm Hello! Here are my three for the month, all from the same volume of poems by Thomas Hall Shastid (1866 - 1947), published when the author was the ripe old age of 14. As far as I can tell he doesn't appear in the catalogue just yet, nor does he have a Wikipedia entry.
Thank you, Andrew! Magic Window updated with PL OKs!

Thank you, Chad! I suggest you use gutenberg.org as your text source, or scans that show publication date, e.g. in archive.org. I was able to find the other two poems in the public domain, but I wasn't able to find this poem by Thomas Hardy in a public domain publication. You'll notice in the poetryfoundation.org site it mentions "Source: Thomas Hardy: The Complete Poems (2001)" which is a copyrighted publication. If you can find it published before 1925, I can update the information in the Magic Window and mark it PL OK; otherwise, it can't be included in the collection unfortunately.

I have another short poem by Jean Starr Untermeyer. I was going to do another one, but my laptop decided to run out of battery instead lol. So that will have to wait a bit.

Sorry about that. I may submit some more. Do I understand correctly that you're going to catalogue this collection at the beginning of January regardless of how many slots are filled by this point?

Hello everyone!

I went to upload a recording or a short poem I read from The Poets Corner, but the system keeps asking me to login with my username and password, even though I am already logged in. And when I put in said name & password, it tells me that it is incorrect. Is there a special login that I need in order to upload these?

I appreciate the help! Thank you so much for providing this service; I am really starting to enjoy using Audacity.

Welcome to Librivox!
The uploader is a separate system, so it has a different password. To log in to the uploader please use the info shown here:

For more details, read through the first post, and let me know if it still doesn't work.
I'm glad you're enjoying this!

Thank you, Fritz, Larry, and Ted!

I saw some snow today, too; in a photo my sister sent me

Ted, welcome to Librivox and to the Poetry Collection! Here's your Reader page in the catalogue: https://librivox.org/reader/15498 which you can also access from your name link in the Magic Windows. How would you like to be credited? We can set your catalogue name to what you use in the recordings ("read by ..."). Or it can stay the same as your forum name.
Thank you so much for your contribution! It's a cute poem, and nostalgic at the same time.

Hi Rapunzelina

Thanks for the reader page and the encouragement. Let's go with 'Ted Hanlon' for the credit.

Best regards
