Hi,

I've been away for a few years but wanted to get involved again but I am, unfortunately unable to login to Magic Window. The problem is that I no longer have access to the email address that I had when I was active so if I click forget password the password reset email just disappears into the ether. My profile on Librivox has a link to a website that I no longer own and the last time I looked was displaying porn so I would really like to login and change it.

Any ideas how I can get logged in?

You won't be able to access the Magic Window unless you are a Book Coordinator or Dedicated Proof Listener. But you don't need to do that in order to record.

As far as the website on your profile, you won't be able to change that in any case, but any admin can do it for you. Is there something you'd like it changed to, or would you rather just leave it blank?

EDIT: For now, I have removed it. But if you'd like to link to another one, just let an admin know.

Many thanks. I am happy for it to be blank.

The email address in the workflow system (the Magic Window) appears to be using the domain of your real name. If this is the one you want to change, I think an admin can do that also. (If not a regular admin, then a "superadmin" can.) Please PM one of us your new email address, and we can try changing it for you so that you can reset your MW password for use in the future.

Done!

It's changed in the Magic Window database, but like Devorah said, it doesn't really make a difference until you're a soloist, BC, or DPL and need to access the Magic Window in a project to change the project section info. But at least it's all changed and ready for that time. :)
